Topics to be covered:

“Chinese tax is very complicated “, a lot of management in Hong Kong will have this comment. It is not easy for management in Hong Kong, in particular, SMEs to understand the China tax practices.   Local staff in China may simply say “cannot” and the China CPA firm may give you funny answers and not helpful in resolving problems.  In this seminar, the speaker will share with you a few China tax cases of SMEs and share with you a tax audit checklist of a local tax bureau of China.

Part I: Case study

ªInstead of taking cash by staff to China, what are the practical solutions?
ªHow to identify problems from the local audited accounts of the PRC subsidiary?

Part II: Mainland China tax inspection and analysis of key content

Miss Bolivia Cheung ( 張少雲小姐 ) has been providing China tax and business advisory services for 19 years. She has retired from partnership of KPMG China in 2011 after working in KPMG for 15 years. She is now freeing up herself for training, education, family, charitable activities and free-lance consultancy projects. Bolivia is also studying her second Master degree in Practical Philosophy. Bolivia is the member of Steering Team of ACCA Southern China, Member of Working Party on Seminars of Accountancy Training Board of Hong Kong Vocational Training Council and part-time tutor on China Tax at the University of Macau, HKU SPACE and Xiamen National Accounting Institute. She is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Sowers Action (a charitable organization in Hong Kong) from 2012.
